As a multi-instrumentalist, I've been involved in music since I was 13. I studied music performance at Sam Houston State University and began teaching private lessons in 2001. Seeing my students excel and watching them grow as musicians and individuals has been the most rewarding part of my career. My approach to teaching focuses on developing proper practice habits and helping my students become independent musicians. I enjoy balancing what my students want to learn and what they need to learn and customizing lessons to fit their goals. Music has been a powerful form of expression and healing, and I'm passionate about sharing that with others. Through The Talent House, I hope to inspire the next generation of musicians and ultimately change lives through music.
