As a multi-instrumentalist, I've been obsessed with music for close to 30 years now. I studied music performance at Sam Houston State University and started teaching private lessons in 2001. Seeing my students excel and watching them grow as musicians and individuals has been the most rewarding part of my career. My approach to teaching focuses on developing proper practice habits and helping my students become independent musicians. I like to find a good balance of what my students want to learn and what they need to learn and customizing the lessons to fit their goals. Music has been a powerful form of expression and healing, and I'm super passionate about sharing that with others. I hope to inspire the next generation of musicians through The Talent House and ultimately change lives through music.
