Voice, Piano, Guitar

I have been singing along to my favorite Barney and Disney songs since I was two or three years old—and I haven’t stopped since. Growing up, my family exposed me to a wide variety of music, from Shania Twain to Selena, sparking a lifelong passion that continues to inspire me today.
Throughout grade school, I participated in choir, UIL, and Solo & Ensemble competitions, consistently earning Division I ratings. My professional vocal training began in high school after transferring to Klein High, where I took private voice lessons, performed in school musicals, and began my audio engineering training in choir—skills that would later prove invaluable in my teaching and performance career. Around this time, the release of Phantom of the Opera inspired me to combine my love of music with my cheer and dance background, fueling a dream of Broadway. I was also recognized with an Outstanding Performance award for my vocal work.
I earned my Associate of Arts in Music from Lone Star College–Kingwood in 2017. Inspired by professors who encouraged my teaching potential, I began instructing at School of Rock from 2018 to 2021, where my audio engineering experience continued to be an asset while helping students grow as musicians. Simultaneously, I performed with several original bands—including The Share Fire (2016–2017), Chromatophore (2018–2021), and Austin Bash and They Glow in the Dark (2019–2021)—writing music, filming videos, touring, and performing locally.
In early 2022, I began pursuing a degree in Music Therapy at Sam Houston State University, completing my internship at TIRR Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands. During advanced vocal training at SHSU, I was selected by my professor to perform in the university’s 10th Annual Art Song Competition, earning an Honorable Mention. I also received the 2024–2025 Cypress Creek FACE CAL Scholarship for excellence in the performing arts.
As a music instructor, I teach bass, guitar, piano, and voice for all levels, offering a supportive, encouraging environment tailored to each student. Drawing from my music therapy training, I have a special passion for working with students with disabilities and unique learning needs, and I plan to offer adapted lessons upon earning my board certification. My audio engineering background also enhances my ability to support students in recording and production.
In addition to teaching, I serve at Strawbridge United Methodist Church as an intern in the Chancel Choir, director of the Celebration Singers children’s choir, and worship leader for the contemporary service, where my audio engineering skills continue to be an asset. I became a church member in 2019 and continue to share my gifts through both performance and ministry.
Outside the classroom, I am a manager and performer with Princesses of The Woodlands, bringing beloved characters like Moana, Mirabel, Isabela, Jasmine, Belle, and Wonder Woman to life at community events and birthday celebrations. I also perform with my fiancé, Paul, in our acoustic duo, Wheeple, formed in 2022, connecting with Houston-area audiences through heartfelt performances and planning to write and record original music following our November 2025 wedding.
My number-one goal—in both teaching and life—is to help others feel seen and heard. My holistic music therapy and teaching philosophy focuses on creating a safe, joyful space where students can grow, explore, and express themselves through music.
