Eric
Drums, Percussion

My musical journey began at a young age after finding my dad's snare drum and a pair of Gene Krupa drumsticks. After six years of service in the Navy Air Reserve, I pursued my passion at Berklee College of Music, earning a degree in drum set and percussion performance. Since 1988, I've immersed myself in playing music within the church community. Interacting with students and approaching music from diverse perspectives excites me. I love to explore different angles until I find the key to unlocking my students' understanding. Witnessing their breakthrough moments, those "ah-ha" experiences, fills my heart with joy. These moments of growth and discovery are why I'm so passionate about sharing my knowledge. I strive to inspire and guide students on their musical journeys—cultivating their skills and nurturing their love for music. It's an honor to play a part in their progress and witness music's transformative power in their lives.
