With a strong foundation in classical training, I love helping students of all ages grow their musical skills. My lessons are fun, supportive, and designed to build confidence. As a three-time All-State singer, I know exactly what programs look for in performers. But I also know how intimidating auditions and performances can feel. With the right preparation, I’ve seen nerves turn into confidence. That’s why I don’t just teach notes and technique. I help students walk into a room believing they belong there.
My training at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music shaped my love for both music and education. It gave me the tools to help students grow in ways that go far beyond just the notes on a page. I’ve seen beginners light up after playing their very first simple melody. I’ve also helped advanced singers discover expression that can move an audience to tears. In every lesson, my goal is to help students surprise themselves. I want them to walk out thinking, “Wow, I didn’t know I could do that.”
Every student is different. Some just want to have fun learning their favorite songs. Others dream of making music their career. I like to find a balance between teaching what excites students and giving them the foundation they need to grow. Whether it’s guiding a beginner through their very first notes or helping an advanced student polish their technique, my focus never changes. I want each student to build confidence, find their voice, and discover what they’re truly capable of.
