As a Houston native, I've taught in Greater Houston for over seven years. I am passionate about teaching and helping my students excel in competitions, resulting in numerous district, region, area, and state-level audition wins. One of the things I adore about teaching is the new and fun challenges that my students bring to the table. They have undoubtedly helped me grow as a musician and a person. I specialize in classical and jazz styles and am honored to have recorded with legendary jazz trombonist Bill Watrous and performed with other great jazz artists, including Danilo Perez, Ben Street, Adam Cruz, John Fedchock, Ed Soph, and many more. When I'm not teaching, you'll find me playing local gigs with my jazz trio, constantly pushing the limits of my musical abilities.
